Update: I received a replacement laptop and have had it about 4 months now and I absolutely LOVE it!! Runs WoW on Ultra perfectly. So glad I purchased this!!What can I say about this laptop? I don't know... I couldn't get past the boot menu. So... I've been wanting to build a gaming pc. Bought all the parts actually and have just been waiting to buy a video card. As those are not available anytime soon, I decided to buy a low-mid grade gaming laptop to replace my currently barely hanging on gaming laptop and a second personal laptop. Found this beauty and met all the specs.Purchased the machine on 20March. Wasn't expected until 26March but it arrived early on 24Mar. Yay me! Plug it in, let it charge for a little bit, turn it on. Now the fun starts. Beautiful back-lit blue lights light up, screen turns on "Checking media...." Then I get the lovely message "Default Boot Device Missing or Boot Failed" I hit okay. "Checking media...." "Default Boot Device Missing or Boot Failed". Hit okay again, we go through this about 5 more times. "Default Boot Device Missing or Boot Failed. Insert Recovery Media and hit any key. Then Select 'Boot Manager' to choose a new Boot Device or to Boot Recovery Media. I'd like to share that I'm usually pretty calm and have a level head when these things happen, so not upset at this point yet. I select the Boot option that's there, and I go through the same error messages again. What do I do, naturally I hit up Google. See a few common hits for this. Follow the suggested steps, doesn't work. Call Lenova support. It is 750ish EST at this time. Start to get a weeeeee bit rattled going through their automated "Press Button 1" to get to the right place. But I do, deep breath, all good. At 8pm EST, I get disconnected. Try to call back. No going through much of the automated stuff at this point because I get the message that they are closed and it is after the hours their techs answer the phone. I'm still okay at this point. In the box, is this "Legion Ultimate Support" flyer for me to upgrade my customer support and I contact that online which takes me to a chat with a live agent. That's okay, I'm a millennial, I'm stereotyped at preferring chat over the phone. (I'll be honest, it's true for me.) Tell Wilma what's going on. Have to send my messages a couple of times, but I'm still okay and maintaining a level head. I'm messaging a friend at this point and he says "OMG, did they forget to install your windows!" "NO WAY" I think. Finally get to the BIOS Setup window as directed. There is a preinstalled license for Windows. See, my friend was wrong, they didn't forget to install Windows! But ya'll... here's the kicker..... "Hard Disk: [Not Detected]. That's when I lose it. HAHAHA, I can laugh now. How is there windows installed where there's no hard drive! Or SSD, w/e.The tech says, "not detected anymore". And I said... "I just turned the thing on and got this error. I don't think it was ever detected". That "anymore" really got to me ya'll. :) So he says I have to send it to Lenova for a repair. I say no, I just got it, send me a replacement. He can't do that. Have to contact Amazon. So I contact Amazon. Daniel was very helpful, truly, nothing negative to say about him. Because this was purchased from a third party, he had to email them, and we have to wait 2 days for them to respond with if they'll offer return... and if they do, if they'll just refund or send me a replacement. That's my story ya'll. I'll update as soon as I actually know if this is a good product or not. But right now, it fails!
