I will say that this is quite an excellent computer. It can handle video games quite well and the screen is incredibly sharp. I love the brushed metal exterior and the awesome appearance. It's been awhile since I could play my video games at all, let alone crank up the graphics to the highest setting without any lag at all. Absolutely delightful!But the amount of storage at 237gb is very low even for a laptop. I barely finished installing all the programs I wanted and already, I have less than 50gb of storage left. Sure, there are upgrades available but I don't think I should have to upgrade the storage to get it to an acceptable level.And having to pay over $500 to get a prebuilt graphics upgrade on this laptop is pretty laughable when you already know how to do it yourself. You can get the upgrade for around $200 and install it on your own. So I plan on sinking a little money just to get this laptop up to where I want it.Overall, this laptop performs well and if you just want to play games on it, you can have it for less than $1000. Worth the buy, 4/5.Had this product for 2 years without issue, does everything it should quickly.I really like this laptop, it works great for me. I’ve had it for 7 months now and haven’t had too much of a problem. There are a few things that can bother me but nothing that’s a big deal or concerning.The things that bother me are that it can get pretty hot while gaming, but that’s to be expected with a laptop. I play CoD Modern Warfare on it and it can get pretty warm but it doesn’t take away from the performance much and it has good fans, but they are loud when running on full blast. I had all of this in consideration when buying it therefore these things don’t concern me. It’s good for beginning to get into gaming, if you’re serious about it build a desktop.This is great for gaming, video editing, photoshop, etc. I’ve used it for all of these. Steam, battle net for CoD, Adobe Creative Cloud, all the programs associated with those run great. Graphics card is great with all of these and nvidia keeps the drivers updated pretty well.Over all it’s a great laptop and I’ve enjoyed it for the past 7 months and looking forward to using it for a while.**5 stars for the laptop itself, 3 stars for the seller Happy Ranger.The main complaint I have for Happy Ranger seller is that they did not put ANY type of protection inside the Amazon box. This caused my laptop box to move freely and unsafely causing slight damage to the actual laptop box as you can see in my pictures. They need to provide better protection for buyers, especially for a $900 product. Other than that, SO FAR the laptop is exactly what I wanted. I'm reaching out to Acer Support sometime today or tomorrow because my NitroSense Fan app does not work. I tried installing it manually and it said it is not supported on my computer. I bought the GTX 1650 so I'm not sure if it comes with this certain model. Most of the reviews online that show the NitroSense app working is for the GTX 1660ti model. We will see what Acer says. Will update my review once I hear from them.Update: I installed all the necessary updates and the Acer Quick Access/Acer Care Center apps. Then I tried the NitroSense app again and it finally worked. I'm guessing I needed updates and the other Acer apps but it's still weird that it wasn't initially on my machine. I'm just happy it's working. Laptop does seem to get hot to the touch but it is made out of metal, metal does get hot, so.. I'm overall very happy with this laptop.If you plan on replacing the lcd screen in case it breaks be warned, the engineers plaster the screen onto the plastic instead of using a metal mount with screws. I had to use plastic infusion on a replacement lcd I bought to keep the screen in place. And make sure you look at the revision number when getting the replacement, I original got the wrong one with the screen being too dim and had to resend it back, mine had a revision 2 type.My rating is due to issues with the laptop and Acers customer service department.I bought the Nitro 7 laptop ($1200) and it worked great, for a week. Then it stopped charging. I contacted amazon, and was transferred to Acer for assistance. The first time I got ahold of a women who I spent 40 minutes on the line, only to be told it would be 3-5 days before I would get a new charger. After not receiving any follow up email about our conversation, I called again two days later. The gentlemen on the phone updated my contact information because she had inputted it incorrectly, but also told me that there was no tracking number associated with my account. He said that he would work to correct this, but that it would take 1-2 days to approve the request, and then 3-8 days to receive the charger. I spent $1200 on a laptop I cannot use, and will not be able to use for at least a week. The time it’s been down will be longer than I had it working. This new charger may not solve the problem either, it could be the laptop, but I won’t know that until the charger gets here, so I could potentially be waiting weeks for a operating laptop.This is the worst customer service I have experienced with company in this field. I am very disappointed with Acer, this is not how customers should be treated.After spent time checking on YouTube and reading reviews on reason affordable quality laptops . I decided on this laptop I love picture screen quality to play games well other watch movies/online music videos and clear loud enough sound for laptop . No issues with charging my laptop, well worth the priceFirstly I appreciate the fact that I received a Internatinal adapter with 110-230v. This allowed me to use the laptop straight out of the box.The build is really good and it looks strong. The backlit keyword looks great. Laptop screen is 1080p so YouTube videos are great to watch.I upgraded it by adding a 2 TB SSHD on my own and I didn’t need to do any BIOS setup or changes.Overall it’s a great laptop for software development (my primary use case) and a bit of gaming.With 16gb and 512gb SSD the laptop turns on as soon as the lid is up.to run my golf simulator and play other gamesJe joue a WARZONEA ET MA GAME LAG....LAGGING AND JUST GET A BUG. SHUT DOWN EVERYGAMEPurchased for my son, who now enjoys HD quality video games all day and nightSuper fast, great for gaming and simultaneous streaming. Son is really happy with this unit.
