This budget keyboard packs a bunch of features you’d expect from more higher end keyboards. I didn’t realize that the switches were prelubed until I went to swap them out just to try something out and lo and behold there was lube. Removal tools are solid and hot swappable switches make mods a breeze. Even without mods this keyboard is very solid and has the nice twump many people look for.This keyboard is brushing up against the big boy price bracket. You can get Keychron keyboards for close to this price. Sometimes less on sale.That being said, it feels nice and heavy, the key material is wonderful, and the action is perfect. I have a couple of Keychron keyboards, and actually prefer this one based feel!The only reason I can't give it above a 3 star, is because basically you are buying a wired keyboard. The dongle has an issue, where it'll take words and theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen do things like thaaaaaaaaaaat every few minutes. Nothing fixes this. I downloaded the software. I updated the drivers. I even got a replacement unit, because I loved this keyboard so much and wanted it to work out. It seems to be something inherently in the design of the dongle/connection, and that's a real shame.As a wired keyboard, very average value. Would be a giant killer if wireless worked properly.The review is being written using the Darmoshark keyboard via a PC with Windows 10 and the dongle connected via USB. The keyboard has a solid heavier feel. The plastic feels sturdy and has a soft texturing that is quite nice. The keyboard feels solid and responsive while typing, and the key-presses are fairly quiet.The keyboard has been used for a few weeks to test during web meetings, e-mails, work, etc. The only issue we have seen is that there is an occasional lag or latency where the key-press may not register. It is an intermittent issue and could also be a MS Windows issue with a large number of apps running. We have also had a minor issue that a key-press may get stuck and repeat the same letter until the key is unstuck. The keyboard is being used on a lap with a tray at some times, so the keyboard angle may cause an issue.We do think illuminated keys would be an improvement as the lighting changes during the course of the day, and looking down at dark keys is difficult in some lighting. Overall this is a very nice keyboard and the dongle or Bluetooth connection option is nice. Four stars from our house.I tried this to see how I like the brown switches. I like blue switches better, and it is easy to swap out the WASD keys with blue switches. The LED effects are good and easy to control. This is a small footprint keyboard, so no F keys and other keys; just the essential keys. This takes some getting used to so I'll use this for travel. The box it comes in makes a great travel case, complete with a solid plastic cover to protect the keys in luggage.
